Symptom

The ECS Direct Input program terminates with the run time error MESSAGE_TYPE_X. The occurrence of the run time error depends on the ECS environment configuration in customizing and the status of the child jobs created by the Direct Input program. If, in the customizing dialog ‘Define Parameters for Parallel Processing’, the indicator ‘Synchron’ is initial and one of the child jobs terminates with a run time error, the Parallel Processing tool will initialize the same application log shared with the Direct Input program.

To complete the implementation of the note, the subobject ‘PP’ must be created in the configuration of the Application Log.
To do this, proceed as described below:
1) Start the Application Log configuration (transaction SLG0)
2) Search for the object GLE_ECS and mark the entry
3) Goto dialog ‘Sub-objects’ (double click)
4) Enter the following new entry:
