Enhanced table with new field value null causes select fails

Symptom
Error happens when configuring pre-delivered XI configurations during BC deployment for system upgrade from FP1.2 TO FP2.0
Reason and Prerequisites
One database table get enhanced, where new fields are set to null for existing entries, which causes that an open sql select cannot find data with where condition in which one of the parameters is expected to be ‘initial’.
Solution
Check the ‘Initial Values’ indicator for the added fields in the definition of the transparent table, which would give these fields initial values for all existing entries during table activation. If it still doesn’t work, execute report ‘/DOC/OM_XPRA_D_CA_ROOT_12TO20′ to initialize all NULL value in DB
