Symptom

Create a sales order with one item and the tax exemption certificate (Max amount) gets determined and assigned to the first item ,no taxes determined.Now create second item with same product and change Tax Exemption Certificate(TEC)on this item to other certificate(Single use) causes Tax on second item.

Reason and Prerequisites

This problem is caused by a program error.
Solution

This error is corrected in SAP_AP IPC PricingEngine 7.00 SP18.For
earlier release (SP16 and SP17) please apply the latest IPC patch as described in note 880749.The Tax Exemption Certificate functionality is only valid from SP16 onwards,so previous SPs do not require this patch.
